Patrick Rainville

Patrick Rainville D.Ch. CEO
Registered Chiropodist

Patrick, a native of Timmins graduated from the Michener Institute of Applied Health sciences in 1997 as a Chiropodist. He is an active menber of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine.  After graduation, Patrick returned to his home town to set up a private practice called Complete Foot Care. Tina Rivest a classmate of Patrick joined him in 1998 to work in the Timmins practice.Today they are partners in business and in life with their beautiful daughter Rachel.

Over the years the Chiropody practice has grown into a corporation called Rainville Chiropody Professional Corporation. The corporation has two divisions. Complete Foot Care and The Orthotic Clinic. Since 1997 Complete Foot Care has been involved in bringing affordable specialized foot care to Northern Ontario. Along with the Timmins practice Patrick has traveled to all treaty 9 First Nation reserves to provide diabetic foot care while under contract with The Northern Diabetes Health Network. In 2007 Patrick saw the need to expand again and opened The Orthotic Clinic at The Hollinger Court. Patrick's goal was to better service the growing demand for orthopedic footwear and custom made orthotics in the community. This location also allowed for the development of an orthotic manufacturing and shoe modification Laboratory. The facility employed a full time Orthotic Technician (Andre Rochon). The establishment of the lab has allowed the orthotics to be manufactured locally and dispensed to clients within one week of their assessment instead of the regular 3-4 weeks. The development of the on site lab has also reduced waiting time from weeks to under 24 hours for modifications. By 2008, Complete Foot Care was moved to the new location thus completing the expansion. The foot care division currently has two Chiropodists and two Foot Care Nurses to provide foot care. This model of foot care is leading edge in the foot care industry and works similarly to a dental office. The nurse provides foot care within her scope of practice and the Chiropodist provides the specialized care needed to complete the treatment required. As a result, Complete Foot Care and The Orthotic Clinic are in a new modern high tech foot care facility at The Hollinger Court.

Patrick's dreams and goals for the practice have expanded and evolved over the years. The practice that began as one Chiropodist in a small rented space in Lamarche Chiropractic Clinic has grown into a corporation which employs several dedicated professionals and support staff. Clients come and are referred from all over Northern Ontario to experience Rainville Chiropody Professional Corporation's model of care. Patrick is a member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine, The Ontario Society of Chiropodists and is registered in good standing with The College of Chiropodists of Ontario. Patrick looks forward to continuing to treat new and existing clients. Patrick's goal is to build and sustain a foot care center of excellence for the community for many decades to come.
